What We Believe

We believe  the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God giving a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, and humanity.  (2 Tim 3:15-17)

We believe there is only one God.  We adhere to the Scriptural teaching of the Oneness of God.  Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.” The Apostle Paul wrote: “One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Isa. 44:6-8, 45:5; Col. 2:9; Eph. 4:5–6)

We believe that Jesus is the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (Mat. 28:19; John 5:43, 10:30, 12:45, 14:8–9; Phil. 2:9-11) All the fullness of the godhead rests bodily in Jesus Christ. (Col. 2:9)

We believe
salvation is a free gift to all who repent of their sins, are baptized in the name of Jesus, and are filled with the Holy Ghost by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. (Acts 2:38, 4:12, 10:44–48; Eph. 2:8, 4:5)

We believe that by God's grace, we can have a brand-new life in Christ, "if any man be in Christ he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (II Corinthians 5:17)

We believe as Christians we are to love God and love others. We are to worship God joyfully and seek to live a life that is pleasing to Him both inwardly and outwardly—in our thoughts, words, lifestyle, and actions. (Mark 12:28-31, I Cor 6:19, Heb 12:14)

We believe that the supernatural gifts of the Spirit are for the church today and are available to all Spirit-filled believers. (1 Cor. 12:8-10, Romans 12:6-8.

We believe that divine healing is available to every believer by the laying on of hands and the prayer of faith. (James 5:15) I (Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:17-18; Acts 8:6-7; James 5:14-16; Acts, 19: 11–12; 1 Corinthians 12:9, 28)

We Believe in Heaven as the eternal inheritance of the believers, and in Hell and the Lake of Fire as the place of eternal doom for the devil, his angels, and all unbelievers (John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:10-15, 21:1-6).

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church (the Rapture or Second Coming of Jesus Christ). We believe that the “dead in Christ” will be resurrected first, and then those who are alive will be caught away. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous will be punished with eternal death. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thes. 4:16-17; Rev. 20:11-15)
